BAPE has begun the new year with momentum, having already released two in-store collections and now opening a new flagship store. With stores worldwide numbering over 40, BAPE can now proudly announce another addition to their list: a new store in New Jersey.
Nestled within the American Dream Mall is the latest BAPE store, surrounded by approximately 400 retail stores and entertainment venues. This includes an indoor amusement park, water park, and even a ski slope. The design of this new store is inspired by the architectural aesthetic of Edo-era Japanese temples.
Despite not completely abandoning its iconic camouflage print for the new store opening, the store remains heavily influenced by the camo pattern, which is paired with walnut wood finishes, shelves, and hangers, as well as an abundance of Japanese greenery. Additionally, phrases like “Made By The Ape” and “Ape Shall Never Kill Ape” can be found etched onto wooden columns throughout the store.
BAPE’s CEO, Mahmoud el Salahy, shared that our unique Japanese craftsmanship sets us apart, and this store embodies our essential characteristics in a tailored shopping experience. This fresh design breaks new ground and invites our community to explore a refined version of our brand, which is influenced by both our rich history and the future, as represented by BAPE.
As a gaming enthusiast diving into the world of fashion, let me share my excitement about the latest store! It’s not just any store, it carries the exclusive BAPE NEW JERSEY capsule collection that takes inspiration from the Garden State. You can find an array of tees, sweatshirts, and headwear in this unique line. Check out the stunning new BAPE flagship in the gallery above and swing by now at the address below!
