- Indian organisation Skyesports has announced the return of their Battlegrounds India Mobile championship
- It’s one of the longest-running homegrown championships in India
- The championship will hold open qualifiers
As a fervent admirer of esports, especially Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), I find myself utterly thrilled by the news that Skyesports is bringing back their BGMI Path to Pro Championship for its 2024 edition! Having followed the Indian esports scene closely, I’ve seen firsthand how organizations like Skyesports have been instrumental in nurturing talent and providing a platform for aspiring players.
Even though the PUBG Global Mobile Championships are happening far away from us, here in India, we’re still making great strides in esports. Although PUBG needed to introduce a domestic version called BGMI for local play, Indian esports organizations have handled it gracefully. In fact, Skyesports has officially announced the comeback of their BGMI Path to Pro Championship for its 2024 season!
As an enthusiast, I can’t help but feel excited about the Path to Pro opportunity. This is a golden chance for aspiring players to showcase their skills and potentially compete. If fortune smiles upon me and I manage to qualify, I could find myself participating in the LAN Event happening from December 14th to 15th at the Koramangal Indoor Stadium in Bangalore. What an experience that would be!
2021’s Skyesports BGMI tournament was the third most-viewed event in the game’s history, offering a fantastic opportunity for novice players to garner attention on a grand national platform. Stay tuned to the official Skyesports Twitter account for forthcoming updates!
Battle these grounds
It’s pleasing to notice the abundant excitement surrounding the esports community in India, considering the challenging past that Battlegrounds games have experienced in the nation. Moreover, it’s equally captivating to find out that these activities are primarily taking place at a grassroots level under the circumstances.
