Bentley Teases Details on New Flying Spur's 771 HP Powertrain

As a devoted fan of Bentley automobiles, I can hardly contain my excitement as I read about the upcoming Flying Spur’s groundbreaking Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain. The prospect of experiencing such an exquisitely crafted vehicle with enhanced performance and efficiency is truly exhilarating.

I’m excited as a gamer about the upcoming Flying Spur from Bentley. They’ve given us a sneak peek into its performance specifications, revealing that it will come equipped with the same Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain that made its debut in their latest Continental GT Speed.

With its advanced technology, this vehicle boasts a 4L twin-turbo V8 engine teamed up with a strong electric motor, producing an impressive 771 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. This is a considerable jump from the present Flying Spur Speed, representing approximately a 150 horsepower enhancement.

The Ultra Performance Hybrid engine improves both power and fuel economy. With CO2 emissions under 40 g/km, the latest Flying Spur boasts an electric driving range over 45 miles, resulting in a total range surpassing 500 miles. This makes the new model the most agile and economical four-door Bentley ever produced.

Bentley’s engineers have carefully crafted the new powertrain to offer consistent power and torque throughout the engine’s RPMs. The electric motor offers strong acceleration at low speeds and in the mid-range, while the V8 engine boosts performance when going faster. Furthermore, the exhaust sound has been finely tuned to highlight the unique cross-plane tone, without the need for artificial amplification.

When I write this, Bentley hasn’t unveiled any visuals of the car other than the solitary picture you see here in the gallery. But they’ve promised to reveal additional information very soon.
