As a gamer who has spent countless hours playing “Rise of Beyoncé” (where you level up by streaming her music and earning virtual RIAA certifications), I can’t help but feel like I’ve been out-leveled by Queen B herself. With over 103 plaques under her belt, she’s not just the ultimate boss in this game, she’s the entire game!
Beyoncé has earned the title of having the greatest number of RIAA-certified songs and albums among all female artists in history.
As a proud fan, I can’t help but celebrate the fact that Beyoncé has hit yet another milestone! The RIAA announced it themselves, and she now boasts an impressive collection of 103 awards across her discography. Some of her most significant achievements include diamond plaques for “Halo” and “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It),” 8x platinum certifications for “Crazy in Love,” “Drunk in Love,” and “Irreplaceable,” and a whopping 7x platinum for the albums “Dangerously in Love” and “I Am… Sasha Fierce.” I’m beyond thrilled to witness such incredible success!
Michele Ballantyne, RIAA President & COO, expressed great enthusiasm in acknowledging the outstanding skill, dedication, and creative flair showcased across various genres. Beyoncé’s remarkable collection of music has secured the title of most certified albums for a female artist in RIAA history. A big congratulations goes out to Beyoncé, Parkwood Entertainment, Columbia Records, and the dedicated fans, known as the BeyHive, who have been tirelessly streaming her music!
