Beyoncé Pauses Show After Prop Car Tilts in the Air

Beyoncé — and her fans — experienced a scare during her Saturday night concert in Houston, Texas.

As I sat captivated by Beyoncé’s performance of “16 Carriages”, I found myself gazing up at a red prop vehicle suspended above the crowd, with the iconic performer inside. However, mid-performance, something went awry – the car started to tilt precariously, leaving Beyoncé dangling in the air.

The performer-thespian halted the tune momentarily, exclaiming “stop” multiple times, requesting assistance as she descended, which she ultimately received.

Following the concert, the artist known as Cowboy Carter took to Instagram to share a series of pictures from her performance that evening, captioning them, “I love you, Houston.” The final image depicted her seated in a car suspended in mid-air. Numerous fans expressed their concern for the singer’s safety in the comments section.

16 Carriages is one of the tracks on Beyoncé’s eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter. This album made a significant impact at this year’s Grammys, earning Beyoncé awards for Album of the Year and Best Country Album. With these accolades, she holds the title as the most decorated Grammy artist in history.

In her acceptance speech for the best country album, she expressed gratitude towards all the remarkable country artists who supported her work. She mentioned that they had put in a lot of effort into creating this album. She also hinted that sometimes genres can be used as labels to limit artists, and she urged everyone to pursue what they are passionate about and never give up.

The Carter Cowboy Tour commenced in April and concludes in July. On Sunday evening, June 29th, Beyoncé will perform for the second time in Houston.
