Beyoncé switched out the image of the Sphere, which was showcased during her “Cowboy Carter” tour, several days following reports that the venue allegedly issued a cease-and-desist order concerning its display within the performance.
Initially, her performance included a large depiction of Beyoncé lifting a high-tech venue as if it were a toy. However, during her third show out of five at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Sunday, she changed this image to Allegiant Stadium instead, where she is due to perform later in July.

On Friday, the New York Post initially broke the news about the cease-and-desist order. Meanwhile, Billboard previously mentioned that the Sphere had attempted to arrange Beyoncé for performances at their venue, but this plan never materialized. As stated in the letter obtained by the Post, the visual concept of the Sphere has sparked a lot of talk about Beyoncé concluding her tour with a residency at the Sphere.
Beyoncé’s representatives and The Sphere have yet to provide a comment regarding our inquiry about the letter or the visual substitute that has been proposed.
Beyoncé has embarked on her Cowboy Carter Tour, with the journey starting at SoFi Stadium recently. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this latest tour is a “stunning three-hour country hoedown that blends Sergio Leone-style cinematic interludes with breathtaking choreography and fireworks.” This tour follows her Renaissance Tour in 2023, which was met with acclaim, and it supports the album of the same name.
Beyoncé has scheduled two additional performances in Los Angeles on Wednesday and Friday. Following these shows, her tour will proceed to Chicago’s Soldier Field for a series of three concerts, commencing on May 15th.
