The filmmaker admitted, “He hadn’t prepared to listen to the story.” Recalling the actor’s words, Bazmee stated, “I don’t wish to hear this tale, Anees. You swear on your mother and tell me if I should participate in it or not.
In regards to Nana Patekar, the director of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 publicly declared his admiration for the man’s exceptional acting abilities. Furthermore, Bazmee highly commended Patekar by stating that he is a remarkable actor, contrary to rumors suggesting he may be challenging to collaborate with.
In the past, the director of Welcome had hoped to work together with the Krantiveer actor. Bazmee admitted that he had always envisioned Patekar as Uday Shetty. Although the well-known actor hadn’t ventured into comedy roles before, the filmmaker was confident that he would redefine comedy for many people.
In Welcome, Anees Bazmee noted that Nana Patekar approached his comedic role with an unwavering sincerity. Bazmee added that during their conversation about the storyline, which lasted around three hours, Patekar ultimately expressed great enthusiasm and satisfaction with the script.
In simpler terms, Bazmee explained that the actor from Welcome showed strong emotions and even gave him a warm embrace. Later on, Patekar consented to be part of the 2007 movie and requested the director to shape him according to his preferred style.
