In an interview with TopMob, director Anees Bazmee hinted at the potential return of Akshay Kumar in a future installment, sharing the screen with Kartik Aaryan. He expressed excitement about this prospect, given that Kartik admires Akshay greatly. He stated, “There’s nothing better than this collaboration. Not only is Akshay a favorite of Kartik, but he’s an all-rounder actor who excels in comedy, emotion, action, and more. We also share a strong bond.

Bazmee showed his enthusiasm for the possibility, stating that he would undoubtedly be overjoyed if it became a reality. He said, “Well, if such a thing happens, I will certainly be one of the happiest people. Who knows what lies ahead in the future? This endeavor will definitely strive to make it happen so that even Akshay [Kumar] would say, ‘Yes, this is the topic!’
If such an event occurs, I’ll undeniably be overjoyed. The future remains uncertain, but we’ll certainly strive to create a role where he can reappear in Bhool Bhulaiyaa again. It needs to be penned exceptionally well because if we’re bringing Akshay Kumar back, we want him to feel that this script has genuine potential.
In the third part of the well-loved series, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, we find an outstanding ensemble consisting of Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit. The story revolves around a ghostly presence dating back centuries that has taken hold of the town of Raktaghat. Two characters known as Manjulikas are in a power struggle over this haunting location.
Under the production of Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Murad Khetani, the long-awaited film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to bring back Vidya Balan to her renowned role from the 2007 hit movie. This return promises an increase in tension and anticipation as the release date approaches. The movie is slated to premiere in theaters on November 1, 2024, where it will compete against Rohit Shetty’s action-packed multi-starrer Singham Again.
