Black Myth: Wukong Fox Quest Guide

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the Fox quest in Black Myth: Wukong has been quite the enigma. The game itself is a masterpiece, but this side mission seemed to have been designed by the elusive Monkey King himself – full of twists and turns, yet beautifully crafted.

Are you curious about finishing the Fox mission in Black Myth: Wukong? Here’s a helpful tip! Make sure to have your Ruyi Jingu Bang ready, as it’s time for an exciting journey. This guide will delve into the specifics of the Fox quest, outlining its prerequisites and steps to complete it.

In the game, the Fox mission is classified as a side quest. It appears simple enough at the outset, but wrapping it up can get a tad tricky. Fortunately, our walkthrough should help you navigate through the complexities.

How To Complete Fox Quest

To embark on the Fox quest, make your way to the Forest of Felicity Shrine in Chapter 3. To the side of the gate resembling a torii, which is located at the back of the shrine, you’ll find a deceased body with a snow fox resting upon it.

Once you’ve dealt with the deceased, you’ll find yourself transformed into a fox and be granted the Snowy Fox Brush artifact. With this magical item on hand, you can transform into a fox at your leisure throughout this adventure.

Switching to fox form in this quest will make you less visible than in your monkey form.

To advance your quest, head to the Thunderclap Temple’s Temple Entrance Shrine while transformed as a fox. Once there, pass through the structure that lies behind the shrine and ascend the staircase located on the left side.

Once you’ve ascended the staircase, you will encounter a sizable red structure on your left-hand side. Upon entering, proceed to the right and climb the stairs as high as possible. Towards the rear of the building, you’ll notice a bridge. If you happen to be in monkey form, remember to transform into fox shape before venturing across the bridge.

Following your departure from the bridge, you’ll come across a staircase ahead. Ascend this stairway to reach another building. Upon entering, a cutscene will automatically play, initiating your battle with a monk known as Non-Void. Once you’ve successfully defeated him, retrace your steps back to the body adorned with a snow fox at the Forest of Felicity Shrine to wrap up your quest.

That’s everything you need to do to follow the Fox side quest in Black Myth: Wukong. Check out our Treasure Hunter guide if you want more on Black Myth: Wukong.
