As a seasoned Zombies gamer with countless hours spent navigating through the undead apocalypse, I must admit, the return of the Abominations and Margwas has me both excited and apprehensive. The memories of their brutal encounters in Cold War still linger, making my heart race with anticipation. However, as someone who’s been downed more times than I can count by a single corner camper, I can’t help but wonder if these beasts have been introduced to force us out of our comfort zones and into the open world.
In Black Ops 6 Zombies, we’ve already encountered some fierce adversaries. Terminus introduces winged creatures, spiders spawning from exploded brains, and even a marine Kraken or Demogorgon-like entity from Stranger Things that will attack you on the boat.
Transformers, or Manglers as some call them, are indeed among us. They might be irritating at times, but consider this – now you can harness their weapons and even modify yourself to transform into one of them. This could potentially turn out to be more advantageous than bothersome.
However, it’s important to note that Terminus is just one aspect of Black Ops 6 Zombies, as Treyarch harbors larger aspirations. They don’t intend to reveal all their plans in the initial map.
Liberty Falls map to feature Abomination zombies
Liberty Falls won’t escape encounters with these creatures, but instead of resurrected spiders carrying nova charges, it seems we’ll see some familiar figures leaving their imprint on the map.
According to promotional materials for Call of Duty: Next, Abominations have returned, with “Abby” warmly receiving a large number of content creators.
As a seasoned gamer, let me tell you about my encounters with the fearsome Abominations and Margwas back in Cold War. These monstrous foes were nothing short of relentless and fiendishly tough to take down, making them some of the most formidable boss enemies I’ve ever faced in a game.

In my perspective, not every gamer shares my enthusiasm for the Abominations and Margwas, primarily due to their debut in Outbreak. However, these creatures were strategically crafted for an open-world environment, specifically targeting players who tend to hide in corners and camp.
As a fan immersed in the thrilling world of round-based gaming, I can’t help but recall the intricate maps where a strategic choice to navigate through a single corridor or room has led me to victory. Memorable examples include Nacht Der Untoten and more recently, Die Maschine. These maps have not only provided endless hours of entertainment but also taught me the importance of strategy and adaptability in achieving success.
The question posed by “TheGamingRevolution”, a well-known expert on Call of Duty: Zombies, essentially asks if Liberty Falls was originally intended to serve as the setting for Outbreak, given that Megabombination A.I. was created with open-world gameplay in mind and releases crawlers when players hide in buildings?
The widely recognized social media account for Zombie enthusiasts, “MargwaNetwork“, expressed some uncertainty: “I… I can’t quite figure it out.” It’s clear that Zombies has made a strong comeback in Black Ops 6, but there’s a chance these creatures could cause more hassle than help.
