As a veteran Zombies player who has spent countless hours battling the undead and many sleepless nights trying to beat my personal best, I can confidently say that the addition of the Save and Quit feature in Black Ops 6 is nothing short of revolutionary! It’s like going from having to hold my bladder for hours on end during marathon gaming sessions, to finally being able to take a bathroom break without fearing the loss of my progress.
As a dedicated fan, I can attest that even after more than a decade, the thrilling Zombies mode in Call of Duty never shows mercy. It’s relentless in its demand for your undivided attention, keeping you engrossed until exhaustion sets in.
Players of Zombies may recognize this all-too-common feeling – they often succumb not to the ravenous undead, but to the relentless march of time. However, now you can set aside worries about how long a crawler might last while you pause for a screen break or attend to chores.
For the very first time, the Zombies mode in Black Ops 6 allows you to preserve your individual high score and step away from your gaming device without ending the session. This is all made possible by an innovative Save and Quit function…at last!
Black Ops 6 finally adds a Save button to Zombies
In the upcoming Black Ops 6 Zombies, for the first time ever in Call of Duty zombies history, a ‘Save & Quit’ feature will be introduced. This feature can only be utilized during a single-player game (solo match) and allows you to save your progress once per solo match. The option to save and quit is accessible via the pause menu within the solo match.

For the very first time in Zombie gameplay, an option is provided allowing you to save your progress and exit the game, enabling you to re-enter the game and continue later on.
In each instance, using a single GobbleGum will automatically save your game progress, yet it only allows you to play a single match before requiring another activation.
In simpler terms, the ‘Save’ function works for single player games but not for multiplayer sessions like online lobbies or private matches. So, you must complete your solo mission first before joining a multiplayer game. However, you are allowed to leave a match anytime to save your progress.
Black Ops 6 Zombies Save button hailed by fans
The news has been enthusiastically acclaimed by fans, who are referring to it as the greatest Quality of Life (QOL) feature yet introduced in the series. One fan nostalgically recalled, “Gone are the days of having to leave the game paused on round 70 to go to school and hoping the game doesn’t turn off. Now, you can simply pick up wherever you left off whenever you want!”
As a passionate gamer like myself, I can’t help but excitedly share that Treyarch has just dropped one of the most game-changing features for zombies we’ve ever seen! This is none other than VondyIsPog, a well-respected figure in our community. This feature is going to be a lifesaver for many, especially those who enjoy lengthy, immersive map runs. Record breakers are going to adore it!
