As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of zombie-slaying experience under my belt, let me tell you, the reveal of Black Ops 6’s first Wonder Weapon, the BeamSmasher, has me more excited than a kid on Christmas morning!
As a passionate player, I can’t imagine a Zombies match without the essential power of wonder weapons. Ever since the introduction of the Ray Gun in our gaming world, it has been an indispensable part of every thrilling encounter.
Ever since the introduction of the Ray Gun, we’ve had access to an array of powerful weapons such as the Thunder Gun, Wunderwaffe, Blunderbuss, Slicer, Staff of Flame, among others.
Now, the first special weapon for Black Ops 6 has been unveiled, and it seems like an intriguing find after purchasing the Mystery Box.
BeamSmasher revealed as Black Ops 6 Wonder Weapon
Labeled as a “trial-driven force” by Treyarch, it’s been unveiled that the Beamsmasher serves as the initial Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 6, accessible on the map called Terminus.
As a fan, I’m thrilled about this weapon! It’s versatile, featuring three distinct ammo types that allow me to tackle various foes effectively. Unlike some weapons, such as the Ray Gun, it’s not just a one-trick pony.
As a gamer, my go-to move with the Beamsmasher is its signature beam. This bad boy is one of the most destructive Wonder Weapons I’ve encountered so far, instantly vaporizing anything in its path. During early game testing, players found that it breezes through the first 20 rounds, but as I take on more powerful enemies later on, it starts to require a bit more time to reduce them to dust.
When things get tough and I need a closer view, I can utilize the sonic soundwave feature that sends out vibrational waves, essentially disintegrating any nearby foes. This soundwave skill also slows down enemies and lessens their resistance to attacks from my teammates.
It wouldn’t be Treyarch Zombies without a sick new Wonder Weapon.
Say hello to the Beamsmasher: an experimental powerhouse with three unique damage types to help you mow down the horde as you fight for survival on Terminus Island.

It seems that the third form of damage has an inherent Electric Cherry-like feature. This means when you reload, it emits a shockwave of damage in all directions and pushes back the hordes of zombies.
As a thrilled gamer, I’m excited to share that the iconic Ray Gun will be included in the game, giving my team’s weapon collection quite the boost! Plus, there’s an opportunity to take control of the colossal Mangler kit, ramping up our damage output even further. These zombies are in for a shock when they encounter us!
