Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol appeared together at a recent gathering in Mumbai. During their conversation, the newcomer from Barsaat discussed taking on the role of young Dharmendra in Dharam Veer and having to wear a unique costume that was hurriedly created for him since he had to film the next day.

Moving forward, Bobby openly admitted, “In those days, I didn’t wear underwear.” During filming, he was puzzled as to why they were dressing him in a gown and voiced this confusion to one of his father’s associates. The perplexed boy then revealed that he had no undergarments, at which point they provided him with a pair of shorts to wear beneath his dress.

The Housefull 4 actor reminisced about how he landed the role in the movie. He shared that back then, he was approximately five to six years old and had a dream of becoming an actor. At the same time, his father Dharmendra was working on the 1977 film, Dharam Veer, and needed a child who resembled him for the role.

In this scenario, there was no one meeting the description of a child with large and sturdy legs. At this point, he considered asking his son if he’d be willing to take on the role from his childhood in the movie. This proposal sparked excitement within Bobby, who quickly agreed to participate. At present, Bobby is busy shooting scenes for Housefull 5 and Alpha, along with other films in Tamil and Telugu languages.
