The “Born Gents” capsule is a beautiful fusion of two iconic SoCal brands, celebrating their rich history and the vibrant spirit of the city they call home.

Following a tribute to its Los Angeles roots at the Sadie Hawkins celebration in November, Born X Raised is further embracing its hometown with another collaboration that embodies classic Californian style. Teaming up with fellow Southern California label Union LA, Born X Raised has launched the “Born Gents” capsule, blending elements from both brands and celebrating their enduring partnership.

In 2005, Chris Gibbs met Finn and Valentino from the Gents of Desire art group when they were working on a mural at Union, Stussy, and Undefeated. This information was shared in a joint Instagram post by the brands. A few years later, the Gents of Desire organized a shoe collection event at Union to aid the East LA Community Youth Center. Born X Raised and Union are celebrating more than 20 years of the Gents of Desire’s impact on the Los Angeles community.

The assortment includes several tailored garments, and a stylish embroidered varsity jacket serves as the highlight. This jacket features patches all over, showcasing a striking combination of green wool for the body and black leather sleeves. Cuffed sleeves add an edge to the design, while “Everything with a touch of elegance” is subtly embroidered on the back.
