Brad Pitt is all set to feature in an upcoming movie titled “The Riders,” directed by the man behind “Conclave.” The latter was released in 2024 and was helmed by Edward Berger, who had previously directed the German-language film “All Quiet on the Western Front.” Both films garnered critical acclaim and were nominated for multiple Oscars. Recently, there’s been renewed interest in “Conclave” following the passing of Pope Francis on April 21, 2025.
According to Deadline, Berger’s upcoming film will star Brad Pitt in the main role. This film, titled “The Riders,” is set to be distributed and financed by A24. The story is based on a novel by Tim Winton, and it follows the lives of a couple named Fred (Pitt) and Jennifer Scully, along with their daughter. However, when only their daughter returns from an overseas trip, Fred’s life begins to unravel. David Kajganich will pen the script, while Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss, Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner are producing the film.
