BRED Abu Dhabi, Presented By Hypebeast Returns To Yas Island Next Week

Only one more week remains before the third yearly BRED Abu Dhabi, sponsored by TopMob, takes place – here’s a rundown of what exciting sights await you at this five-day neo-cultural event.

2021 finds us gathering at the expansive Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island, where an extraordinary event awaits. This festival is a unique blend of various realms – music, fashion, sports, and arts – bringing together the finest talents from each sphere.

If you’re on the hunt for everything from trendy streetwear to high-end fashion, unique vintage pieces, or eye-catching footwear, this festival promises exclusive items, customization spaces, engaging experiences, and more to cater to your unique style. Notable brands like Amsterdam’s Daily Paper and Turkey’s Les Benjamins come back with fresh collections, joined by Precious Trust and 5Pillars. Meanwhile, award-winning menswear label Pieces Uniques and local favorites Mesmari, Wyld x Jeeski make their first appearance. Lastly, Sharjah’s Basement collaborates with The Lab barbershop to offer a fusion of streetwear and fresh haircuts.














Prominent brands including ASICS, JD Sports, New Balance, adidas, ANTA, Timberland, and New Era will provide a variety of items, ranging from athletic clothing designed for high performance to everyday wardrobe essentials. Additionally, multi-brand retailers like Sneaker District, TONE, and Foot Locker are gearing up to release unique products and exciting daytime-to-night events that you won’t want to miss.

Last year’s highly praised Hypeart exhibition underscores that art is a cherished component of BRED Abu Dhabi’s events – with equal emphasis placed on showcasing artists from diverse global backgrounds. Carrying on this tradition, street art icon Futura will make an exclusive visit to the Les Benjamins space, offering attendees the opportunity to purchase his latest book and browse the unique Futura x Les Benjamins collection. Furthermore, Marwan Shahin from Los Angeles, Joelle Jabbour (a Lebanese illustrator), Stephany (an Armenian-Syrian artist), and Shamma Bu Hazza (an Emirati designer) will each create bespoke artworks specifically for the festival.

This year, we’ve previously unveiled a stellar international lineup featuring Nas, Nines, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Adonis, Cairokee, and the exclusive single “Hena” by Karim Osama, Asayel, and The Synaptik from BRED Abu Dhabi. Now, we’re thrilled to announce additional regional acts such as Marwan Moussa, Afroto, Dana Hourani, Nayra, Odeal, Ilmond, and numerous others who are all eager to deliver their electrifying performances at the festival stages.
























At BRED Abu Dhabi, they’re known for their extensive food selection that showcases a variety of cuisines and fosters unique partnerships. This year, you can find Oklahoma-style smash burgers from Gotham Burger Social Club, New York-style pizza at L’Industrie Pizzeria, French-style steak sandwiches at La Sauce Entrecôte, Moroccan specialties from Choukran, mouthwatering Mexican tacos at Lila Taqueria, and Mediterranean favorites at Polline. Plus, Kaak Al Quds serves traditional Jerusalem ka’ak, and GRADE Africa has collaborated with local BBQ restaurant Mattar to provide a fusion of African streetwear and flame-grilled dishes.

During the five-day event, the TOP BALLER Gulf 1v1 Cup, sponsored by NUMBER 10 and adidas, will come to a close at BRED Abu Dhabi. Here, top athletes from the region have been battling it out for the title of the Gulf’s finest baller. Simultaneously, Saturday Skateshop is organizing skateboarding workshops for the community. On day two of the festival, 16 dancers will square off at Hip-Hop Cardio’s “BRED Battle,” competing for cash prizes. Additionally, the NBA 2K League Gaming Zone is making a comeback, offering spectators a chance to witness top players in action and participate in various basketball-themed interactive challenges.
