BritBox Greenlights Contemporary Adaptation of Agatha Christie’s ‘Tommy & Tuppence’

BritBox has green-lit a six-part contemporary adaptation of Agatha Christie‘s Tommy & Tuppence.

The upcoming TV series, based on adaptations of “Towards Zero” and “Murder Is Easy”, is being produced by Lookout Point (known for shows like “Happy Valley” and “Gentlemen Jack”), which is a part of BBC Studios. This production is also in collaboration with Agatha Christie Limited. Phoebe Eclair-Powell, who has received her first commission for television drama writing, will be penning the series.

The show has been greenlit by Robert Schildhouse, Jon Farrar, and Stephen Nye for BritBox. Additionally, Laura Lankester, Katie Draper, Louise Mutter from Lookout Point, as well as James Prichard from Agatha Christie Limited, are also serving as executive producers. Filming is set to commence towards the end of this year.
