As a fan who has been eagerly waiting for Pa Salieu‘s return, I am beyond thrilled to see him back in the game! It’s been two long years since we last heard from him, let alone, but the wait was well worth it seems he still managed to keep us entertained.
Pa Salieu has been released from prison after serving 21 months of a 33-month sentence, Pitchfork reported first. The British-Gambian rapper was jailed in 2022 for an incident that had occurred back in 2018, in which Salieu was found to have attacked a man with a glass bottle.
As a passionate fan here, I’d like to share an incident that took place in my youth. It all started when my friend, Fidel Glasgow – grandson of The Specials icon Neville Staple – was tragically stabbed outside a nightclub. Being only 21 at the time, I found myself embroiled in a situation I never wanted to be in. In the heat of the moment, I felt compelled to protect myself, which led to charges of violent disorder that I later admitted to. However, I maintain that my actions were primarily driven by self-defense.
