In a fascinating turn of events, the highly anticipated film “Bucking Fastard,” penned and directed by the esteemed Werner Herzog (known for works such as “Grizzly Man” and “Fitzcarraldo”), is set to hit the screens soon. This production brings together an extraordinary cast including Kate Mara, famously known from “House of Cards” and “The Martian,” her sister Rooney Mara, who has graced us with performances in “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” and “Carol,” as well as Orlando Bloom (from “The Lord of the Rings”) and Domhnall Gleeson (“Ex Machina”). A first glimpse into this captivating production has now been unveiled.

Filming for the project was completed around late April, and HanWay Films has taken over the global distribution rights. HanWay plans to reveal initial clips filmed in Dublin, Sligo (Ireland), and Slovenia during the Cannes Film Market to potential buyers.
