Remington, whose clients include Gary Dauberman (‘It’), Chris Morgan (‘Fast & Furious’), and Eric Pearson (‘Thunderbolts’*), is departing from CAA to establish a new venture centered around literary management.
Remington’s choice to pursue management was a logical step forward, as it offers her the opportunity to collaborate more intimately with artists and storytellers, mentoring their professional growth. With the upcoming, as-yet-unnamed venture, she will have the chance to establish a company from its foundations, aligning herself with her enduring principles of nurturing creativity, cultivating genuine connections, and aiding in the development of long-lasting careers.
In his statement, Remington expressed gratitude for having the opportunity to work with exceptional filmmakers, authors, and producers worldwide, as well as esteemed partners, resulting in remarkable achievements at CAA.
After spending two decades in the agency world, it’s now time for me to embark on a fresh journey – establishing a company that offers novel opportunities to collaborate with talented individuals as a manager. In this new phase of my career, I aim to design a unique client experience, with the objective of assisting each client in reaching their objectives and attaining remarkable success in our rapidly changing industry.
Remington joined ICM in 2003 as an intern, and over time, she climbed the ladder, holding positions such as assistant, coordinator, agent, and ultimately becoming a partner and significant figure within the company’s film division. She jointly headed this department until its merger with CAA in 2022. Even following the merge, she continued to represent some of the most influential writers, producers, and directors in the industry. Similarly, she was also a partner in the merged agency’s film division.
Amongst her other clients are Mark Perez (Game Night) and Blair Butler (The Invitation).
