Caitlin Clark Wore a Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Cookie Monster” PE

Summary

  • Caitlin Clark and Nike Basketball have created many special Kobe Protro PEs together
  • The young superstar stepped out in a new Kobe 6 Protro “Cookie Monster” PE this past weekend
  • Currently, it is not expected to ever release to the public, however, she has started to release her old PEs to the public recently

Despite a groin injury earlier in the season, Caitlin Clark managed to earn her second WNBA All-Star recognition. Known for her sharp shooting skills, she has solidified herself as one of the league’s key figures during her second year. Moreover, her collaboration with Nike Basketball is thriving. Last season, she wore several Nike Kobe PEs, and at the end of last month, she released her own Kobe 5 Protro “Indiana Fever”. We eagerly anticipate the unveiling of her signature shoe, but in the meantime, she’s just introduced another custom Nike PE.

Last weekend, Clark donned a fresh pair of Nike Kobe 6 Protro PE shoes, showcasing a “Cookie Monster” design that takes inspiration from the iconic Sesame Street character. The shoe’s color scheme reflects the Muppet’s distinctive blue fur, while its unique laces (not utilized during the game) mimic a rough, shaggy texture. The shoe’s tongue is a nod to chocolate chip cookies, with its brown-on-brown exterior.

Currently, neither Caitlin Clark nor Nike Basketball have given any hints that the “Cookie Monster” PE of the Kobe 6 Protro will become available in stores. Keep an eye out for future updates, as there may be more speculation about a potential collaboration between Caitlin Clark and Nike, and it’s possible this shoe could end up on shelves, similar to some of her other special editions.
