‘Call Me Miss Cleo’ Producer Celia Aniskovich Launches Digital Magazine

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent immersed in the vast world of narrative-driven games, I find Celia Aniskovich‘s venture into digital storytelling through Switchboard truly intriguing. Having lived in the realm of fictional narratives for so long, it’s refreshing to see a platform that promises to bring real-life stories to the forefront, with an added twist of potential adaptation into film and TV projects.

In response to the escalating demand for non-fiction content, Celia Aniskovich, renowned non-fiction producer (known for works like “Face to Face with Scott Peterson” and “Beanie Mania”), is initiating a digital magazine. The aim is to share compelling narratives that could potentially serve as intellectual property for future film and television productions.

Beginning in January 2025, Switchboard will debut as a monthly publication. Every issue will include a lengthy narrative article, a profile piece, an article showcasing works drawn from university capstone projects (referred to as “from the stacks”), and a short documentary film.

According to Aniskovich, “Switchboard” isn’t merely a digital magazine; it serves as a platform for immersive intellectual properties with cinematic flair. Our narratives are crafted not only to engage but also to foster long-term achievements within the entertainment industry, making it a groundbreaking resource for producers, writers, and viewers alike.

As one of the editors at Switchboard, I’m excited to say that we’re on the lookout for captivating tales with a rich storyline and cinematic flair. Our platform seems tailor-made for bringing such stories to life on the big screen.

Susanna Schrobsdorff, one of our editors, shared that our goal is to establish a space where stories from diverse backgrounds can be shared. This endeavor aims to revamp both the fictional and factual narrative landscapes, thereby opening up fresh avenues for engagement for readers and content creators alike,” said Susanna Schrobsdorff, another editor at Switchboard.

As a dedicated enthusiast, I eagerly anticipate the forthcoming narratives penned by exceptional talents such as Nick Aspinwall, Gabriella Canal, and Albert Samaha, along with many others. These creative minds have garnered accolades ranging from Pulitzer Prizes to Student Academy Awards, which speaks volumes about their skill and dedication to their craft.

Audio versions of the Switchboard‘s narratives can now be accessed through Dubfrog. Every cinematic venture procured by Switchboard will be viewable on E2AC+, the streaming service belonging to the nonprofit organization Entertainment to Affect Change.
