Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies – How To Pack-a-Punch

As a grizzled veteran of countless Call of Duty campaigns, I can attest that the Pack-a-Punch machine in Black Ops 6 Zombies is still the beacon of hope for us survivors when the undead horde becomes relentless. The thrill of upgrading my trusty weapons has been a staple of this franchise since its inception, and I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia as I traverse through these maps once more.

In Black Ops 6 Zombies, as the hordes of zombies grow more vicious, the default specifications of weapons prove insufficient for survival. Initially, standard weapons manage to hold their own, but their effectiveness wanes as the game progresses. Therefore, it’s essential to acquire upgrades to prevent being overwhelmed by the relentless onslaught.

It’s great news that the Pack-a-Punch machine continues to be renowned for its potent role in enhancing weapons during tougher game levels. Here, we delve into strategies for locating and employing the Pack-a-Punch machine in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

How To Pack-a-Punch in Black Ops 6 Zombies

In order to activate the Pack-a-Punch machine in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, you’ll have to take a slightly varied approach based on whether you’re playing on the maps Liberty Falls or Terminus.

Here’s how to Pack-a-Punch on each:

Liberty Falls Pack-a-Punch

Start your journey in Liberty Falls by gathering approximately 7,500 units of Essence to unlock access to the Pack-a-Punch station.

Apart from that, you’ll require an additional 5,000 Essence for the upgrade process itself. Additionally, you can break down the Motor Lodge barrier for 1,500 Essence.

Once done, make your way into Fuller’s Liberty Lanes by opening the bowling alley entrance to get to the outdoors, but be aware that it will cost an additional 1,750 Essence.

After that, climb the stairway leading to the church, knowing you’ll need an additional 2,000 Essence. Upon arrival at the church’s entrance, notice a barrier called the Dimensional Membrane preventing further entry.

To proceed once more, shell out 2,250 points for entry into the Dark Aether. Inside this realm, you’ll discover the Pack-a-Punch machine situated at the rear of a church.

With each update, your weapon gains more strength, acquires eye-catching visual cues, and occasionally incorporates sound elements to heighten the gaming adventure.

Terminus Pack-a-Punch

To activate the Pack-a-Punch machine on the Terminus map, you need to supply power at several spots. Essentially, this entails turning on three Power Stations, which are strategically placed at distinct locations.

Initially, make your way to the Guard Station where you’ll need to power up the initial generator. This process requires 500 units of Essence and demands that you protect it from aggressive, purple-eyed zombies for a duration of 30 seconds.

Head over to the Residential Area, ensure paths are clear so an extra 1,750 Units can get to the second Energy Source. Similar to the first, it needs protection to keep functioning.

Ultimately, head to the Biology Lab, removing any hindrances en route, which will cost an additional 7,500 Essence to access all required zones. After activating all AMP stations, navigate towards the water region within the Biology Lab.

As I plunge into the depths, I trigger the angled lift, adding another 500 Essence to my tally, raising the Pack-a-Punch machine closer to the surface. Keep in mind, though, that as the game unfolds, this magical machine might just hop around.

Rarity System and Costs

For both maps, the Pack-a-Punch upgrades come in three tiers:

  • Tier 1 – 5,000 Essence
  • Tier 2 – 15,000 Essence
  • Tier 3 – 30,000 Essence

Before using the Pack-a-Punch machine, it’s beneficial to boost your weapon’s scarcity for maximum results. Here’s how the rarity levels work:

  • Common (Green) – Base level
  • Rare (Blue) – Moderate upgrade
  • Epic (Purple) – High power boost
  • Legendary (Orange) – Maximum strength

Less common weaponry can be acquired through Wall-Buys or Mystery Boxes, and their power can be increased by adding ammunition. When Pack-a-Punched, they deal additional damage.

Enhancing the rarity of your weapons could prove vital when facing more challenging adversaries such as mini-bosses or heavily armored zombies.

Obtaining Pack-a-Punched rare weapons in later rounds will greatly boost your chances of surviving and making the Exfiltration process smoother for you.
