As a seasoned gamer who has weathered countless storms of epic narratives and brutal combat sequences, I must confess that my feelings about skipping cutscenes in God of War Ragnarok are rather complex. On one hand, I appreciate the immersive storytelling and world-building that these cinematic interludes provide, offering a rich tapestry of mythology and character development.
In the game God of War Ragnarok, similar to numerous other single-player titles, you’ll find yourself immersed in a story-focused journey where gameplay and narrative complement each other seamlessly.
If you’re more interested in the action and less concerned with the storyline unfolding, you might ponder if it’s possible to bypass the cutscenes.
Can you skip cutscenes?
In the game God of War Ragnarok, it’s not possible to bypass the cutscenes during your initial playthrough as this feature is not available by default.
In the New Game+ mode introduced following the game’s release, there’s now an option to bypass cinematic scenes. This is beneficial if you’re planning a replay for a tougher experience, as you won’t have to watch the cutscenes you’ve previously viewed.
In God of War (2018), and possibly future installments, we can expect similar elements, given that they maintain the cinematic gameplay style seen in the last couple of releases.
