This initial airing attracted 7.7 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in the demographic, making it the network’s most-watched series premiere not following the Super Bowl. Additionally, during its debut on Thursday earlier in October, the show garnered 6.4 million viewers and retained its 0.4 rating in the demo.
So far, this performance is quite promising, and if these figures remain consistent, it might indicate a positive outlook for the potential success of Matlock in the future. Although trends can shift unexpectedly, there’s definitely cause for optimism.
