Candace Cameron Bure Kicks Off Christmas Filming Early – You Won’t Believe It!

Although it’s still May, planning ahead for the 2025 TV holiday schedule isn’t premature. Sipping hot cocoa, snuggling under a blanket during snowfall, and enjoying classic Christmas movies are delightful aspects of the season. Interestingly, for actors in these films, filming often takes place at a different time of year. Bure has shared her experiences of filming Christmas movies when it’s hot outside, and she recently posted that the holiday spirit has arrived early once more.

Seriously, Bure is no stranger to getting into the holiday spirit months in advance. She’s been filming Christmas movies for over 10 years now, with a chunk of them going to Hallmark before she famously switched to GAF. Bure’s long been the Queen of Christmas, and she took to her Instagram Stories to share photos from the set of her newest film. She seemed to be all set for cold weather even though it’s still spring (and hot in many places already).

Even though it’s still warm outside in May, if you’ve been reviewing holiday films as long as I have, you probably get into the festive mood whenever needed. And let me tell you, it’s almost like having two visits from Santa each year!

Furthermore, it seems to add to the holiday cheer when Christmas ornaments, along with what appeared to be artificial snow but turns out to be real, are brought in. Bure, too, posted another picture on her Stories, standing near a decked-out trailer adorned with holly and various decorations, and I must say, it’s delightful to see everyone embracing the festive spirit so enthusiastically.

Details about the upcoming holiday movie Bure is filming are scant at the moment, but we can expect further information within the next few months. Whatever the project turns out to be, it’s bound to put fans in a festive mood, just as it seems to have done for her already. Whether she’ll be shooting another one this year or not is yet to be determined, but if there’s another movie on the horizon, it might just be set in even sunnier conditions. Wishing her all the best!

Actors on Paul Bure’s old TV network, Hallmark, have shared insights into the reality of shooting holiday films during the summer. Previously, Paul Greene confessed he had to fake feeling cold in scorching heat. Interestingly, I mentioned earlier that Bure too has appeared quite warm (in more ways than one) while filming Christmas movies when it’s anything but cold. However, she seems to handle the discomfort gracefully.

One trick to making a Christmas film is that it’s often shot during other seasons, so it can be released during the holiday season. Except for those made specifically for “Christmas in July,” there are many to look forward to as we approach the end of the year. It’ll be intriguing to discover what Bure has prepared for this year’s festive season!
