Capcom Will “Address Issues” With Monster Hunter Wilds “Where Possible” in Future Updates

Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds has just released Update 2, enhancing the PC version’s performance slightly, but it hasn’t managed to shake off its “Very Negative” user rating on Steam due to persistent performance issues. The frustration over these technical hiccups is so intense that even Capcom’s shareholders are starting to voice concerns.

As a dedicated fan, I’ve been curious about the team’s awareness of the feedback on Wild. Happily, I can confirm that our development team is actively reviewing user feedback, be it comments on social media or elsewhere. They are committed to addressing any issues within their capabilities through future title updates. Additionally, I was inquired about other companies recruiting Capcom’s developers and if that has influenced our current situation. However, I don’t have specific details to share on that matter.

For staffing purposes, we match the right team members to each project title, and many of those working on ‘Monster Hunter Wilds’ have experience from previous work on the ‘Monster Hunter’ series. However, they didn’t specify any plans for addressing criticisms at this time. They did mention that there will be further improvements and fixes as part of their future Title Updates.

Update Title 3, scheduled for late September, introduces a fresh monster and increases the game difficulty level. Additionally, players can now create Talismans with random properties, either for skill or decoration purposes. In the meantime, Update Title 4, planned for Winter, focuses on making Artian Weapons more valuable (and adding another new monster).
