As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that Capybara Go has certainly piqued my interest! The game seems to be a delightful blend of adventure, strategy, and ad-watching (which, let’s face it, we all do a little too much of).

Progressing in Capybara Go might sometimes prove challenging… or even tedious. Without the right equipment, transitioning to the next level may seem like an arduous task. However, I’ve compiled a comprehensive guide for Capybara Go that will ensure you always make optimal upgrades, eliminating the need to get stuck on levels (or at least until the game becomes challenging in the late stages).

From my own journey playing it since its debut, I’ve passed on some strategies that I believe have significantly improved my grasp of areas where I initially went astray.

This collection offers a variety of straightforward suggestions as well as some more complex ones, each one useful at some point in time. Rest assured, there won’t be any tips like “spend money to win” because that’s not how it typically goes. Instead, I’ll concentrate on advice applicable to every Free-to-Play (F2P) player.

Sometimes you have a lucky streak, and you end up gaining lots of stat boosts, while other times you just can’t seem to even get a single good skill. That is fine, and to be expected. It’s not meant to be cleared on the first playthrough every single time, so you need to adjust your expectations.

With some helpful insights (which I’ll share shortly), also known as my Capybara Go tips, you’ll discover areas where you can improve, reducing the influence of chance when striving to finish a stage. So, let’s get started!

1 Tip #1 – Always upgrade your gears

Upgrading your gears is essential. Even though they might not be the best ones out there, it’s significant to have upgraded gear. Whenever you get a chance to upgrade, don’t hesitate – every improvement will enhance your fundamental stats.

Moving forward, each multiplier you acquire (such as “+10% Max HP”) will grow proportionally with your base stats. It’s crucial to consistently wear the top-tier equipment available to you. Additionally, ensure that everything is upgraded to its maximum potential, even though it may require a substantial amount of Power Stones. Don’t worry, you can accumulate these by farming the Tower.

Additionally, strive for a balanced approach in upgrading all your items. Avoid overemphasizing your weapon while other items remain at their base levels. Since lower-tier upgrades are less expensive, aim for a gradual upgrade of everything in equal measure.

To ensure optimal performance, it’s crucial to progressively upgrade your equipment from level 10, then to level 20, and so forth. If you haven’t been following this practice, I recommend starting the process now for best results.

Gear level transfers

When you level up your gear, the level will stay between swaps. For instance, let’s say you have a green piece of armour that you upgraded to +12, but then you managed to get a purple one. Just swap the green one for the purple one, and you’ll notice that it will also be +12. That’s why it is so important to level up gear as much as possible.

2 Tip #2 – The order you should level up your Talents

In Capybara Go, enhancing your abilities, or Talents, is an effective method to boost your fundamental attributes. At the game’s onset, these Talents will grant access to unique features, while as the game progresses, they will provide you with extra passive benefits.

In this game, focusing on Attack (ATK) is of utmost importance, as it has the greatest impact. First, strive to maximize your ATK. After achieving that, give attention to Health Points (HP), which comes second in priority. Lastly, devote time to Defense (DEF). This sequence provides the best balance for upgrading your stats, with Attack taking precedence due to its significance in the game.

3 Tip #3 – What about the Treasure Chests

Instead of opting for the common Legendary Treasure Chest every time, consider choosing the Limited Treasure Chest instead. Both chests share similar costs, and their drops are essentially identical. However, with each draw from the Limited Chest, you progress towards a guaranteed S-Epic item.

Instead of using individual summons, it’s advantageous to save up 2980 Gems for a 10x summon. This method costs the same as performing 9 single summons, effectively giving you one free try. You might be surprised by how much more beneficial this is, especially considering that you need to perform 180 summons to guarantee an S-Epic. Therefore, I strongly recommend going for the 10x summon.

Each summon will guarantee you an S-epic at least once every six attempts. This means that in addition to the three guaranteed ones, you’ll receive a fourth S-epic from this chest as well.

4 Tip #4 – Angel vs Demon & other encounters

Now, let’s discuss some intriguing moments that occurred during your fights. We can chat about each one individually.

Angel

Occasionally, you may encounter an Angel who presents you with two appealing skills to choose from, or one skill and one recovery. It’s advisable to always opt for the skill, as it tends to be more beneficial than a random recovery effect, which might not be useful if you happen to draw unfavorable outcomes.

Demon

The Fiend presents you with an opportunity to gain a spontaneous skill by sacrificing some of your base maximum Health Points (HP). While this might seem appealing on occasion, exercise extreme caution. More often than not, the trade-off isn’t worth it – even if the skill is strong doesn’t guarantee it will be advantageous for you at that particular juncture.

Avoid being lured into unnecessary reductions of your maximum health points (HP) solely for the chance at acquiring a random skill that may not complement your abilities. Take time to consider if it’s worth the risk.

Chance encounters

You can run into encounters like the skeletal corpse or the spinning wheel, that will tell you there is a % chance for success. I recommend you always go for these because in my experience, 90% of the time they will give you something good. I like to go for the chance encounters every time because they can give you flat stats, % stats and even unique skills.

Battles

Occasionally, you may find yourself in situations where you need to decide whether to engage in a battle or retreat. I’d suggest opting for a fight about 80% of the time. If you possess Health Points (HP) or Lifesteal, or if you feel that you might still be underpowered compared to the final boss, then take on all these battles. These fights will not only provide you with valuable abilities but also boost your other stats.

5 Tip #5 – Let’s talk quests

At the outset of the game, you’ll encounter the 7-Day Carnival mission. This mission spans over seven days, with multiple quests each day, and I strongly advise you to aim for completing all of them. The prize for this mission is a Revival Cape, an exceptional S-Epic piece of equipment that you won’t want to miss out on.

Besides focusing on this quest, remember to attend to your Daily and Weekly chores regularly. You can locate these tasks under Menu > Tasks, and they’re quite straightforward. Go about your day like a laid-back capybara, finishing them at your convenience, yet make sure you do so every single day!

Events and dungeons

In the Events tab you will have all of your daily encounters. The daily dungeons can be completed for a limited time every day (more if you watch ads, but that’s a topic for the next page), and the other challenges can be completed as much as you can.

You should do all of the Dungeons every single day, especially the Celestial Tree one (for pets) because you want to reach at the very least Level 6 ASAP, and then 9, and then 11/12.

Regarding the Tower, strive to conquer it as far as you’re able. Once you reach a point where you can’t overcome it, simply move on and continue playing to enhance your capybaras. Over time, you’ll manage to defeat them all.

6 Tip #6 – Let’s talk about the seemingly endless ads

The game appears to heavily rely on advertisements, and as a free-to-play gamer, I find it becomes somewhat monotonous and repetitive over time, particularly because the game flags an alert if you haven’t watched an ad. Honestly, this can be quite frustrating, but one gets used to it.

As a free-to-play user, it’s beneficial for you to take advantage of the ad system. I suggest you watch ads to unlock treasure chests and also to refill your Dungeon entry tickets. This method can be quite helpful in the long run.

7 Tip #7 – What to do when stuck?

Occasionally, you may find yourself in a situation where progress seems elusive – maybe you can’t advance beyond a level, defeat a certain boss, or have good fortune with your encounters and skills. This is completely typical, and here are some strategies to help you break free from the “impasses” you encounter:

Travel

By traveling, you can leisurely farm your recently completed stage and collect all the rewards associated with it – primarily Gold and occasionally chests. You have the option to travel using various multipliers based on your available Stamina. I advise you to do so whenever you’re stuck, as the extra Gold (with multipliers) will significantly boost your Talent upgrades.

Events

As a passionate enthusiast, I often find myself at a standstill during my favorite games or activities. However, when I hit a wall and can’t make any more progress, there are certain tasks that prove invaluable. These are the events that are always accessible, not tied to specific time frames.
