This recent incident, though scary and unfortunate, is yet another testament to her strength and resilience.
Cardi B shared that she had an unexpected incident, which temporarily caused paralysis, and came close to jeopardizing her pregnancy.
On Thursdays, the artist shared her thoughts during a Twitter Spaces discussion, where she talked candidly about living under house arrest after having an accident.
“She described an unexpected and painful incident that left her in discomfort. She didn’t elaborate on the details, but she did mention that it was significant enough to cause her immobility,” she said, without providing further information about the event or any diagnosis. “Such incidents aren’t common for her, but this time it grew into a major issue.”
Last week on Instagram, Cardi B, known for “I Like It,” announced her pregnancy by posting a series of photos. This revelation followed her third divorce filing from Migos rapper Offset. On Twitter Spaces, she shared that the accident she experienced nearly caused a miscarriage, but fortunately, everything turned out alright.
She went on to express that she experienced a sense of well-being on Wednesday following her hospital stay, as she had been under the influence of morphine provided by the doctors. However, she sobered up on Thursday and found herself in significant discomfort. She mentioned that if her pain persisted after the upcoming days, she would return to the hospital to seek additional medication.
“Cardi expressed indifference and admitted to seeking more morphine by exaggerating her situation. She stated, ‘Morphine me up.’ She didn’t mince words about her addiction, confessing, ‘I wasn’t lying when I said I eagerly anticipated the morphine injections every four hours.'”
The artist is anticipating the arrival of their third offspring with their soon-divorcing spouse. They tied the knot back in 2017 and already share a 6-year-old daughter called Kulture and a 2-year-old son referred to as Wave.
In her announcement about her pregnancy, Cardi appears to acknowledge the upcoming divorce by saying, “Every end marks the start of something new! I’m incredibly thankful for having experienced this phase with you. You’ve given me so much love, life, and above all, rekindled my strength!”
She went on saying, “You’ve made me realize that I can have everything! You’ve shown me that I don’t have to sacrifice between life, love, and my dreams! I adore you immensely and am eager for you to see what you inspired me to achieve, what you motivated me to strive for! It may be simpler to go with the flow when life takes unexpected paths, but you, your brother, and your sister have demonstrated why it’s valuable to keep pushing forward!”
