One notable aspect about Gungho Entertainment’s Puzzle & Dragons, apart from it being their popular puzzle game, is their enthusiasm for collaborations. So, it comes as no surprise that another significant collaboration is on its way, right before the weekend. This time, Detective Conan: Case Closed and Yaiba: Samurai Legend are joining forces for a limited-time crossover event!

For those who haven’t tried it yet, Puzzle & Dragons blends the thrill of a traditional RPG dungeon crawler with the excitement of a color-matching puzzle game. Being one of the pioneers in this intriguing fusion, you’ll venture through various themed dungeons, solving puzzles as you go, to engage in fierce battles against dangerous creatures.

From now until June 22nd, this collaboration presents unique dungeons with a variety of Quest Rewards. By signing in for ten consecutive days, you’ll also receive a complimentary draw from the combined seven-star plus Case Closed & YAIBA Egg Machine.

Draconic Detectives

Outside Japan, Detective Conan: Case Closed may not be as familiar, but it’s highly respected among children and adolescents. The story revolves around Conan Edogawa, a teenage detective who was turned into a child by a mysterious drug. Now, he solves mysteries under this new identity while also using the rumor of his death to track down the organization behind his transformation in order to exact revenge.

In contrast, Yaiba: Samurai Legend revolves around the protagonist, the young samurai Yaiba Kurogane, who was brought up in the wilderness to become a samurai in present-day Japan. His story unfolds as he navigates his way through modern society once again, filled with amusing escapades and exciting experiences.

In these games, The Case Closed and Yaiba Quest have a lot of exciting prizes for players. Clearing a Quest Level earns one Magic Stone, and there are up to ten stones obtainable in total. Notably, those with P&D Pass membership gain extra incentives as well.

However, if Puzzle & Dragons or its peculiar collaborations don’t catch your fancy this weekend, there are plenty of alternative entertainments at your disposal. How about diving into our handpicked list of the top 5 fresh mobile games to explore this week instead?
