Casio recently introduced the MRG-B2100, a captivating new model in their MR-G collection within the G-SHOCK series, showcasing a mesmerizing “Blue Ink” dial.
This watch boasts a sturdy full-metal structure, featuring a 27-part bezel made of COBARION, a hardy and resistant material that’s also scratch-proof. Polished using the Zaratsu method for a sleek, mirror-like surface, the bezel pairs beautifully with blue IP highlights. The case, back, buttons, and crown are all designed from light Ti64 titanium, offering both durability and comfort.
A notable aspect is the “Blue Ink” dial, modeled after classic Japanese kumiko lattice designs. Its delicate complexity lends an air of sophistication and lets light filter through, illuminating the solar panel below.
Regarding its features, the MRG-B2100 model boasts Bluetooth compatibility, an integrated LED light, an automatically updating calendar, and radio wave reception for accurate timekeeping. The self-correcting hand position feature enhances precision, while the power-saving mode can prolong battery life up to 18 hours.
This month, the MRG-B2100R-2AJR model from G-SHOCK will officially launch in Japan through their online store, with a price tag of approximately ¥550,000 JYP (or around $3,524 USD).
