The series has me riveted due to its spot-on portrayal of Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ backstory, one of TV’s most cherished characters. Austin Stowell convincingly dons the challenging role once held by Mark Harmon, making it evident that the show is faithfully recreating a younger Gibbs. This is further underscored by co-showrunner Gina Lucita Monreal, who hinted at additional glimpses into Gibbs’ past in the upcoming episodes.
