In her SS25 Paris runway showcase, models showcased two distinct ASICS pairs that blend performance design with Cecilie Bahnsen’s elegant aesthetic.
In one design, the first pair is depicted in a silver color scheme, featuring Bahnsen’s contemporary floral print, both quilted and appliquéd on the upper part. Bungee laces ensure easy wear and provide a tactical accent to the sleek form. The second pair sports a unique waterproof outer layer, fastened by a zipper on the tongue. A silver underside is visible through the transparent upper, which is adorned with glossy navy blue flowers all over. Both designs boast a sock collar for additional protection against the elements. According to a recent interview with TopMob, the designer has hinted that the brand’s next ASICS collaboration will be waterproof, and these sneakers certainly seem to echo that promise.
On the runway, Bahnsen showcased her new pairs as part of her SS25 collaboration with The North Face. This collaborative collection largely featured monochromatic shell outerwear adorned with lustrous floral patterns and scalloped edges, reflecting a subtle approach to embellishments that aligns with the contemporary Danish design heritage of Bahnsen this season.
