D’Amelio expressed immense joy about becoming part of the Broadway community, a dream she harbored since childhood. In November 2022, the musical “Juliet” premiered on Broadway. This production offers a fresh take on the tale of “Romeo and Juliet,” exploring what might have transpired if Juliet had lived beyond their tragic ending.
The show is accompanied by a collection of popular hits such as “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “I Want It That Way” and “Confident.” This musical has a script penned by David West Read, a writer from Schitt’s Creek, and music and lyrics crafted by Max Martin. The show is directed by Luke Sheppard and the choreography is handled by Jennifer Weber.
The musical that debuted on the West End in 2019 is currently traveling across the United Kingdom and kicked off its initial North American tour this month. A German version is scheduled to make its debut in October.
