Charli XCX, with some reservation, finds herself caught up in the viral sensation stirred by her tweet calling Kamala Harris a “brat” amidst this year’s presidential race.
In a feature article for New York Magazine, the popular singer was questioned regarding her contentious social media post concerning the Vice President. She clarified that she composed it while lounging by her swimming pool in Los Angeles, not giving it much thought as a political endorsement, but rather as a “positive and casual” message to celebrate the new presidential nominee.
