Chris Hemsworth’s Mind Blowing Doomsday Transformation

The character Fat Thor has been replaced, as actor Chris Hemsworth recently posted a video titled “Avengers Warm-up“, displaying his impressive physique while portraying Doomsday.

Chris Hemsworth posted a video on his social media, tagging both CentrFit and Marvel Studios in the caption. He wrote “Gearing up for some Avengers action, here I come!” His current physique suggests that the days of ‘Fat Thor’ are far behind us, as the character was depicted as much heavier and less muscular after Thanos’s snap. Hemsworth’s sculpted body certainly fits the image of the mighty Norse god of Thunder, and it appears he’s eager to dish out some punishment to the Avengers’ latest foe in the video clip.

In the upcoming film titled “Doomsday,” Chris Hemsworth will once again take up his hammer as Thor, joined by an illustrious Marvel Cinematic Universe ensemble comprising Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Florence Pugh, and several others. Notably, Robert Downey Jr., who has previously shone as the heroic Tony Stark/Iron Man, will make a comeback to the cinematic universe in an entirely different role – that of the malevolent Doctor Doom. The movie is slated for release on May 1, 2026, as part of Phase Six within the MCU.

It has been confirmed that the final film of Phase Six, titled A, is set for release on May 7, 2027. Although specific details about the upcoming Avengers movies are still kept secret, it is evident that Earth’s strongest heroes will be joining forces with Wakandans, The Fantastic Four, the Thunderbolts, and even the original X-Men to confront Downey’s Doctor Doom.

The upcoming movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, known as “Doomsday,” will mark the return of directors Joe and Anthony Russo. They hinted at the start of filming via their personal social media accounts. With everyone eagerly awaiting Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Doctor Doom, the Russos fueled the excitement by posting a set photo with the caption “Day One…”.

Avengers: Doomsday Is Already Breaking Records for Marvel

Even though Avengers: Doomsday is not scheduled to hit theaters for another year, the excitement surrounding it is already immense. Being the first Avengers film since Endgame in 2019, Marvel fans have high expectations for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future, and these anticipations are reflected in impressive figures for Marvel Studios. In March, Marvel hosted a five-hour livestream where they revealed many of the cast members involved in Doomsday, generating significant buzz for the studio.

The teaser event set a new record for Marvel Studios, marking their most successful live stream to date. This achievement surpassed previous events such as premiere red carpets and other live-streamed special occasions. A staggering 275 million digital views were recorded for the stream, along with an additional 3.1 million social media impressions. The event also announced a list of 27 names associated with Doomsday, notably revealing that Kelsey Grammer (Beast), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Halle Berry (Storm), and James Marsden (Cyclops) will be reprising their roles from the original X-Men series.

Further cast members for “Avengers: Doomsday” are likely to be revealed as the production progresses.
