It’s common knowledge that the web series directed by Raj & DK, produced by D2R Films, is packed with thrilling action scenes. The teaser even highlights stars Samantha and Varun in intense action roles. Therefore, it wasn’t surprising that during the press conference they were questioned about their preparation process.
When asked about his preparation, Varun Dhawan mentioned it was less challenging for him than Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He explained, “It’s no secret what she went through when she joined the show. At first, I thought my preparations were tough, but then seeing her incredible dedication and the battles she faced really motivated me.” The actor also praised Samantha, acknowledging that she had been an inspiration to him.
In a similar vein, Samantha referred to their collaboration as a partnership and stated that during action scenes it was akin to dancing together. She described these action moments as if they were a romantic duet because there was so much harmony between them. The father recently disclosed that one of the action sequences in the series takes around 11-12 minutes per take, leaving everyone astonished by this revelation.

For the first time, Samantha will be working alongside Varun Dhawan on-screen. Regarding her experience, she described him as one of the hardest working individuals in the industry. “From the moment he gets up, he’s constantly thinking about how to improve this scene. His work in Citadel is truly groundbreaking,” Samantha concluded.
