As a devoted follower and ardent admirer of Varun Dhawan‘s journey, I must say that his recent foray into fatherhood has added yet another facet to his already multidimensional persona. His candid admission of still figuring out his role as a responsible father resonates deeply with me, as I firmly believe that every new parent experiences this phase of learning and adapting.
In June 2024, Varun Dhawan welcomed parenthood with the arrival of his daughter. He’s been rather private about her with the press up until now. However, in a recent chat, the star of Bhediya admitted that he’s still learning the ropes as a new father and is making efforts to be more responsible for his little one, just like any other first-time dad.
On various occasions, Varun Dhawan has frequently voiced his wish for a daughter. This dream was fulfilled when he became a father to a baby girl on June 3, 2024, with his wife, Natasha Dalal. The couple has been rather private about their child’s life and have seldom shared pictures of her online, leaving her name undisclosed to the public.
In a recent chat with Etimes, the actor from Coolie No.1 shared insights about his new role as a father. He admitted, “I’m still learning the ropes, understanding my responsibilities, and figuring out how much of a child I can still be. It seems men often go through this phase.
Because he’s still figuring out his role as a father, Varun pointed out that it’s Natasha who takes care of all their daughter’s tasks, making her truly deserving of all the praise. In his characteristic humor, Dhawan said, “At first, it’s the woman who does almost everything; then, the man steps in and proves to be helpful.
Just like any other father, actor Bawaal takes pleasure in spending time with his little girl and fulfilling his role as a dad. Varun is dedicated to becoming an even better father day by day, though he admits he hasn’t quite reached that level yet. In a playful manner, he shared that he’s been watching TV at lower volumes to avoid disturbing his daughter or wife, who might scold him for it.
Personally speaking, I’m eagerly preparing for my OTT debut alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in “Citadel Honey Bunny”. Interestingly, my character is a father to a little girl in this production. Additionally, you’ll see me in “Baby John” soon. At the same time, I’ve begun shooting for “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari”, where I’m working with Janhvi Kapoor.
