Three decades since “My So-Called Life” aired its final episode from its sole season, its creator and lead actor are reuniting for a new project.
Actress Claire Danes is expected to take on a leading role in an upcoming HBO drama, which is being developed by writer Winnie Holzman, best known for creating My So-Called Life. The series, called The Applebaum Curse, is still in its early stages at the premium cable network. Holzman will pen the script and oversee production, with Danes set to star. Both women will also serve as executive producers for the project.
As a devoted admirer, I’d say that HBO characterizes “The Applebaum Curse” as a gripping dramatic series, starring the talented Danes, who delves deep into the complexities of a troubled family unit.
More to come.
