COMME des GARÇONS Parfums Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary with New Odeur 10 Fragrance

As a connoisseur of all things unique and aromatic, I find myself utterly captivated by the latest offering from COMME des GARÇONS Parfums – Odeur 10. Having been on a journey through the world of fragrances for quite some time now, I must say that this new scent is truly a breath of fresh “hydrogen peroxide”!

30 years ago, COMME des GARÇONS Parfums was born, and in 2024, the brand will be celebrating its anniversary with the introduction of a new fragrance called Odeur 10. This is the fourth scent in their Odeur collection which also includes Odeur 53, Odeur 71, and Odeur du Theatre du Chatelet. The unique scent of Odeur 10 is reminiscent of Hydrogen Peroxide, known as “Eau Oxygénée” in French. It starts with a fresh top note of mint, followed by a heart note of aldehydes, and base notes of musk and ambrette to round it off.

At the Aoyama flagship store in Japan, COMME des GARÇONS introduced a new fragrance exclusively, accompanied by an installation designed by artist Yuichi Higashionna. To celebrate this launch, a pair of vacuum-sealed COMME des GARÇONS T-shirts were also released. These shirts reference the Odeur line in a distinctive way: one features a prominent tri-color graphic of Odeur 10, while subtly acknowledging past scents with prints of Odeur 71 and Odeur 53 on the back. The second shirt offers a more abstract design, featuring stylized versions of Odeur 10, Odeur 71, and Odeur 53. Both shirts are completed by a COMME des GARÇONS branding.

Currently, you can find Odeur 10 at COMME des GARÇONS and Dover Street Market stores globally. The price for Odeur 10 is around ¥30,800 JPY or approximately $199 USD. Meanwhile, the accompanying T-shirts are priced at about ¥13,750 JPY or roughly $89 USD. These prices already include any applicable taxes.
