Cordae Taps J. Cole and Anderson .Paak for New Single “Summer Drop”

As a long-time fan of both Cordae and Anderson .Paak, I can confidently say that their latest collaboration, “Summer Drop,” is a delightful treat for my ears. Having followed their careers since their initial collaboration on “RNP” from Cordae’s debut album “The Lost Boy,” it’s been fascinating to witness the growth and evolution of their unique styles.

The musical duo of Cordae and Anderson .Paak have teamed up for their third project together. Back in 2019, they first came together for the track “RNP,” which was featured on Cordae’s initial studio album titled “The Lost Boy.” Now, four years later, they’ve collaborated a second time on the song “Two Tens.”

As a music enthusiast, I can’t help but share my excitement about the new track titled “Summer Drop.” This tune perfectly encapsulates the spirit of summer. Though Anderson .Paak is officially featured as a guest artist, the collaboration feels more like a shared effort, with both artists seamlessly exchanging verses, all set against a backdrop of vocals humming the catchy phrase, “When the summer drop.”

Similar to their previous projects, the song has been produced by J. Cole, and Samba took charge of creating a playful video that complements it.

Cordae is expected to drop his new album, The Crossroads, sometime before the end of the year.
