Courrèges Pre-Fall 2025 Envisions a Space Age Noir

I’m thrilled to share that Courrèges has revealed its Pre-Fall 2025 collection, a testament to the ongoing evolution of the brand’s forward-thinking Space Age concept. This collection is all about sleek, architectural shapes and modernist motifs, echoing the founder’s visionary spirit.

The collection is made from rigid, greyscale textiles, carefully tailored into intricate lines that suit the atmosphere of a futuristic city with a hint of neo-noir ambiance. Suggestions of tradition are subtly incorporated through abstract shapes, most noticeably in a t-shirt design resembling a raglan style, featuring black shoulders and a white, curved panel below, covering the remainder of the shirt.

Instead of being overtly masculine, the male models exude an element of adventure in their understated simplicity by incorporating styles often associated with women’s fashion. Solid black and white tanks are adorned with silver accessories, while a men’s tank top is reimagined as a large black fabric circle, featuring a rounded neckline and hem. A sense of playfulness pervades both male and female outfits, amplifying the impact of key pieces.

In contrast, the most thrilling experiences can be found in the stylish attire of these designs. Crafted from see-through materials such as metallic netting and delicate lace, the collection presents an array of mini-dresses perfect for parties, each with its unique style. To create a balance, there are also covert ensembles, like one consisting of a long-sleeve top with a distinctive concave neckline, teamed with leather flared trousers and a coordinating cap made from the same material.

This theme is delved deeper into, particularly in the iconic range of men’s winter attire. A long black trench coat, paired with a black leather cap and a branded leather motorcycle jacket, spearheads this lineup. Across the collection, hats and sunglasses lend an alluring air of mystery to the models, even those baring some exposed skin.
