Storyline: After her renowned father’s demise, Dalia takes up the task of completing his unfinished novel. In order to accomplish this, she steps into the narrative herself and encounters the story’s characters who are vying for the leading role in the book.

The narrative commences with Dalia developing a keen fascination towards her deceased father’s unfinished manuscript. Her mother had kept this work untouched, but curiosity led Dalia to open it. Unbeknownst to her, doing so released the characters from the novel itself.

In this new realm, Dalia gets pulled in and follows the storyline as the characters strive to escape. Yet, her guardian figure, the Goat, cautions her against the menacing Wolf. Beneath the surface, Dalia gains insights into her father’s ideals.

In my perspective, I’d say: “I recently watched a captivating film that tells the tale of a young girl who unwittingly steps into her deceased father’s book. She embarks on a perilous journey through this fantasy realm to finish his work and break free. Yet, the characters within the novel are yearning for liberation and view her as their ticket out.

Best Parts

The film employs an enchanting journey through fantasy to help Dalia understand her father’s profession. It further explores the challenges she has endured due to his absence, shaping her childhood experiences. Notably, it boasts a captivating animation style that appears distinctive and vibrant.

Worst Parts

Although the film is primarily aimed at a younger demographic, it shares similarities with Inkheart as it explores the idea of literary characters yearning to step into our reality.
