Previously known actress Zaira Wasim recently visited a café in Jammu and Kashmir and ordered a pie for her pleasure. However, unlike she anticipated, the dessert carried an unpleasant flavor. Not long ago, she voiced her discontent on her social media platform after discovering traces of something unwelcome in her pie.

The clip gives a closer look at the piece of food item bought from a local café in Srinagar. In the caption, Zaira Wasim penned, “People, check twice before you consume stuff from local bakeries. Mold in the pie.”

It’s possible that the actress known for her role in Dangal had a short stint in Bollywood. Yet, the films where she displayed her skills garnered numerous awards and praises not only from viewers but also film critics.

In her first appearance on the big screen, she starred in the biographical sports film “Dangal” alongside actors such as Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Suhani Bhatnagar, Sakshi Tanwar, and Aparshakti Khurana. At the 64th National Film Awards, she was honored with the Best Supporting Actress award for her portrayal of the younger version of wrestler Geeta Phogat.

In an interview with TopMob, the ex-actress shared that her father remained unaware when she won a National Award. “It took me two hours to explain what a National Award is, and even then, he didn’t fully grasp its significance,” she said. “However, it wasn’t until I was on stage receiving the award that my parents truly felt proud of me.”

In 2017, she acted alongside Mr Perfectionist in a musical drama film called “Secret Superstar”. This movie tackled various social concerns and was well-liked by movie enthusiasts. Her final film was “The Sky Is Pink”, where she starred with Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar. In this heartfelt biographical movie, she portrayed Aisha Chaudhary, a girl battling a serious illness.

2019 saw her final film appearance in Bollywood, followed promptly by her declaration of leaving the movie world due to personal religious commitments. She appealed to her followers to remove her photos from social media, aiming for a fresh beginning in life.
