One of the show’s stars recently disclosed that the trailer release is delayed, shattering a Marvel record that might have gone unnoticed by many.
Vincent D’Onofrio, in response to a fan about the unseen “Daredevil: Born Again” trailer, shared that the release has been delayed due to the Los Angeles fires. Given the severity of the situation, which has forced many to leave their homes in Los Angeles, this delay is reasonable. However, D’Onofrio did not specify a new date for the trailer’s arrival, but he assured fans that “Born Again” is still scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on March 5, 2025. Although the exact trailer release date remains uncertain, it’s comforting to know that the studio seems determined to maintain the spring release date for the series.
It’s reasonable to anticipate that the Daredevil: Born Again trailer will be out within a month or so, given that Disney hasn’t yet commented on its release status. In late December, “Daredevil: Born Again” shattered the Marvel Studios record for the shortest gap between a trailer’s release and the project’s premiere date. As reported by The Direct, this series has surpassed the 66-day record held by “Loki Season 2”, which was close to the time gap between the trailers of “Echo” (67 days) and “Moon Knight” (71 days), on Disney+. Typically, Marvel Studios doesn’t unveil a trailer for a television series more than a few months before its air date. However, if “Daredevil: Born Again” maintains its March 5 release date, it will be pushing the boundaries, as there are only 51 days left until its premiere on the streaming platform.
It’s possible that the postponed trailer for “Daredevil: Born Again” might signal a delay in its release date on Disney+, even though there hasn’t been any official confirmation. The optimism expressed by Vincent D’Onofrio about the show’s March debut remains strong.
