Krafton is introducing the mobile version of Ironmace’s popular dungeon crawler Dark and Darker, named Dark and Darker: Mobile, in Canada starting February 5th. However, international players won’t have to wait too much longer as a worldwide launch is planned for the first half of this year!

For the uninitiated, Dark and Darker is a blend of treasure hunting shooter and labyrinth exploration game. You can embark on this journey either alone or with a group reminiscent of D&D characters such as warriors, thieves, barbarians, mages, bards, and many others. Your task is to navigate through an expansive underground complex where you’ll encounter not only monstrous foes but also rivals looking to snatch your hard-earned loot.

Initially, Ironmace caused quite a stir upon its PC debut, prompting Krafton to acquire the rights for a mobile adaptation. With a global launch appearing imminent, there’s talk of additional enhancements being made to Dark and Darker before its international rollout.


Getting darker

Planned modifications encompass adjustments to the Darkswarm system and methods for escaping the dungeon, which are set to undergo structural enhancements to facilitate party gameplay. Furthermore, class distinctions will be refined with added basic attacks and combat mechanics, while a broader variety of weapons and skills are being introduced.
