As a gamer who has lived through countless lives in virtual worlds, it is always heartbreaking to hear about the loss of someone who truly made an impact in real life. Dayle Haddon, a woman who graced our screens with her beauty and talent, was more than just a supermodel or actress; she was a beacon of hope and change for countless people.
On Friday, Dayle Haddon, a model and actress from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, is believed to have passed away due to a suspected carbon monoxide leak at her home in Pennsylvania, according to CBS News reports. She was 76 years old.
On Friday morning, around 9 a.m., the Solebury Township Police Department was dispatched to a house in Bucks County following a report about an elderly man, who hasn’t been identified yet, being found unconscious on the ground floor of a detached office or in-law suite. The 76-year-old individual was taken to a nearby hospital for medical care.
Officers subsequently discovered a 76-year-old individual named Haddon deceased in an upstairs bedroom. Upon examining the premises, the fire department identified elevated levels of carbon monoxide within the property.
Initial investigations suggest that a fault in a heating system led to an excessive release of carbon monoxide inside the carriage house,” Detective Sgt. Jonathan Koretzky informed CBS News.
Two medical personnel and a police officer experienced carbon monoxide exposure; the former pair were transported to a nearby hospital, while the latter received treatment on-site, as reported by authorities. They have all been confirmed as being in a stable condition.
Haddon, born on May 26, 1948, in Toronto, Canada, gained recognition as a supermodel. Later, she shifted her career to Hollywood and started acting as well. Her first role was in the Disney film titled “The World’s Greatest Athlete“, which she secured in 1973.
