The First Blade Reveal

While no actual gameplay was shown, the presentation offered fans a glimpse of the unique, stylistic direction the game aims to achieve. Fans were given an early look at the Blade game 10 months ago during The Game Awards. Although no gameplay was demonstrated, they were able to catch a glimpse of the distinctive style that the developers are aiming for with this title.

According to its official details, the game titled “Blade” will be situated in the core of Paris and is expected to be a single-player adventure with a third-person perspective. While specifics about gameplay are yet to be revealed, it’s probable that the game may incorporate features similar to those that distinguished “Dishonored” and “Deathloop“, particularly the diverse array of weapons that players can utilize.

Given Blade’s reputation for possessing Bond-like tools for battling vampires, it’s only fitting that the game allows players to use a variety of swords and throwable knives to eliminate these bloodsuckers.

Blade is Ready for a Mainstream Comeback

It’s true that the “Blade” series has struggled to regain momentum after taking a break. While these films were iconic during the early 2000s, it seems that the movie Marvel Studios announced in 2019 is facing obstacles, with numerous directors departing from the project.

As a hardcore gamer, it’s been exhilarating to see Blade making a comeback in modern games like Midnight Suns and Deadpool and Wolverine. It feels like the Daywalker might be ready for another shining moment. Here’s hoping that this new game release will encourage Marvel Studios to speed up their movie plans, so we can witness more of Blade’s epic adventures on the big screen!

It’s still undetermined when “Blade” will launch, but there’s speculation that it might be coming out towards the end of 2025.
