Deepika shares BTS pics with Big B, Irrfan from Piku ahead of re-release

Recently, Deepika Padukone, using her Instagram account, disclosed that one of her favorite films, Piku, would be re-released. This movie, helmed by Shoojit Sircar, originally starred Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan and is slated to be shown again starting May 9. In anticipation of the re-release, Deepika has shared some behind-the-scenes fun videos on her social media platforms.

April 30th saw Deepika Padukone posting a heartwarming video on her Instagram stories, showcasing delightful behind-the-scenes moments during the making of Piku. The video captured cherished and iconic scenes involving the late Irrfan Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and director Shoojit Sircar from the film, as well as some previously unseen fun behind the camera.

The actress expresses that her time spent in Kolkata during the movie shoot has been incredibly enjoyable and she’ll truly miss it. She also shows off her knowledge of Bengali by saying “Bosho is to sit. So, bosho bosho, mesho mesho,” followed by a fit of laughter, clarifying that she was merely joking with this playful phrase.
