Deftones Announce 2025 Tour Dates

As a long-time fan who grew up on the raw energy of 90’s alt-rock, I can hardly contain my excitement for Deftones‘ upcoming tour in 2025! From the first time I heard their unique blend of heavy guitar riffs and ethereal melodies, they’ve been a band that resonates deeply with me. The fact that they’re coming to major venues across the US, supported by The Mars Volta and Fleshwater, is just the cherry on top!

After a brief hiatus, Deftones have officially announced their comeback concert tour starting early in 2025. The North American tour will span over 24 shows, taking them to prominent stages across the USA. Venues include Madison Square Garden in New York City and Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA. Accompanying Deftones on this tour are opening acts The Mars Volta and Fleshwater.

In preparation for their tour in 2025, the band is set to headline their fifth annual “Dia De Los Deftones” festival on November 2 at Petco Park, San Diego, CA. Last year’s event featured a mix lineup with rising rap star Doechii and pioneer of hyperpop 100 Gecs. For the upcoming 2024 festival, the band has invited alt-icons Duster and IDLES from Bristol to join them.

Over the past few years, the fanbase of this band has grown to encompass younger audiences who have rekindled their appreciation for the ’90s alternative rock vibe that the band produces. In 2023, Marc Jacobs brand showcased the band prominently in a collaboration with Stray Rats, offering a collection of Deftones-themed merchandise.

Starting this coming Wednesday, September 18th at 10am local time, eager fans can grab pre-sale tickets.
